We are excited to welcome Irina Agrest to the Migdal Ohr family as our new Manager of Finance and Operations at American Friends of Migdal Ohr. Irina brings a strong background in finance and analytics, with experience in both the corporate and nonprofit worlds. She grew up in Israel and has a deep personal connection to Migdal Ohr’s mission of empowering vulnerable children and helping them grow up to be confident, capable adults.

At the same time, we want to thank our outgoing Director of Finance and Operations, Peni Landisi, for her incredible dedication to Israel’s children and her drive and passion. Peni was an invaluable member of our team for nearly a decade and wore many hats with skill and determination.

Peni and her new husband, Steven, chose to raise funds for the children of Migdal Ohr in lieu of gifts for their recent wedding celebration. Peni expressed her gratitude to Rabbi Grossman, the founder of Midgal Ohr, and to Midgal Ohr for showing her the true meaning of Chesed, Tzedakah, and Mitzvot. It was very moving to see how she had brought the children of Migdal Ohr into her heart and her life during the time she spent working with us.

As Executive Director, Atara Solow, said, “Thank you, Peni, for your dedication, your heart, and your inspiration. You leave behind a legacy that will continue to guide and motivate us in the work we do each day.”
