For 50 years, Migdal Ohr has been caring for some of the most vulnerable children in Israeli society. With support from donors like you, we make sure that they have everything they need to feel comfortable, loved, and ready to achieve their dreams.

Our founder, Rabbi Grossman, created Migdal Ohr because he wanted to turn a child’s darkness into light. From Migdal HaEmek, one of the most crime-ridden, poor cities in Israel, he created Migdal Ohr, which has literally become a ‘beacon of light’ for thousands of children all over Israel.

When you give, you provide a child with:

• Three nutritious meals a day
  

• Medical care and any therapies they need 
  

• Family-style home with loving dorm parents
  

• Clothing, shoes, and all of their necessities
  

• Loving and supportive school environment
  

• Sports, music, and art programs to develop their talents
  

In fact, there are currently 12,565 children at Migdal Ohr thriving because of the care and love of donors like you.

Very often, you see a child come to Migdal Ohr with major trauma, coping with extreme challenges. With the proper support, love and care, they slowly begin to gain self esteem. They begin to thrive in school, pick up new hobbies, and make friends. Hungry for connection and love, children take off with confidence and a zest for life.
