Chanukah on the Migdal Ohr campus is an inspiring display of light and celebration that the children look forward to all year.
This year in particular, the schools, programs, and dorms were alive with glow parties, fire-throwing jugglers, performances, and menorah-making competitions!
This is the LIGHT and the JOY that you are bringing Israel's orphaned and vulnerable children. By the smiles on their faces and the activities, it's hard to believe they are living in the aftermath of a war. Thank you for embracing them with so much positivity and love!
On Chanukah itself, it is an annual tradition - 50 years strong - that children get Chanukah gelt from Rabbi Grossman himself! The Rav stops to give each child a coin, a blessing, and an encouraging word. Even after all these years, and all of his high-profile engagements around the world, the Rav cherishes the time that he spends with each child.
