This fall, supporters of Migdal Ohr in the US, UK, Latin America, Israel, and Canada came together in a global crowdfunding campaign to raise an unprecedented $4M for the orphaned and underprivileged children in Israel!
Over 48 hours, the 2X matching campaign mobilized thousands of supporters who joined together to make a difference. The campaign shared the story of Migdal Ohr over the last 50 years and highlighted the growing numbers of orphans during the war.
Together, we have been able to:
- Provide ongoing support and care for Israel’s orphaned and at-risk youth
- Establish a dedicated fund for children affected by recent conflicts, ensuring they have immediate access to emotional support and healing programs
- Send essential supplies to Migdal Ohr alumni serving in the IDF
- Support thousands of families displaced by recent events
- Strengthen our network of 24 institutions, 160 youth clubs, and three thriving campuses that serve over 10,000 children each year
Rabbi Grossman said, “From my first days as a young Hassid with a dream, I never imagined that people across continents would come together to build something so meaningful for Israel’s children. I traveled to fundraise overseas, meeting visionaries who encouraged me to think big, asking, ‘What else can we do?’”
Migdal Ohr’s alumni are proof that no matter what a child has been through, they can become whole again. Nothing can extinguish the fire that burns within each and every Jew.
