Every bright, eager elementary school child in Migdal Ohr’s schools has an opportunity to learn English. Families in poor development towns surrounding Migdal HaEmek do not take the great education that they are offered at Midgal Ohr for granted. Whether a child is living on campus or one of the thousands of children who arrive here by bus every day, each one has an opportunity to learn, have a hot nutritious lunch and dinner, and explore extracurriculars that will help them discover their talents.

In Israel, fluency in English can be the difference between a job that simply pays the bills and a career that inspires and sustains a family for generations. English opens doors—doors to higher education, to global business, to technology, to diplomacy, to dreams.

That’s why, at Migdal Ohr, English is not an afterthought. It’s built into our curriculum as early as first grade, with immersive, engaging lessons that make learning a second language feel natural and fun. By the time our students graduate, they don’t just know English. They own it—reading, writing, speaking with confidence and fluency.

Think about it: how many people around the world dream of mastering English, only to struggle through expensive courses later in life? Our students don’t have to play catch-up. They leave Migdal Ohr prepared for university entrance exams, job interviews, and a workforce that increasingly operates in English.

We’ve seen it happen again and again—graduates landing jobs in high-tech, international finance, and leadership roles they once thought were beyond their reach. That’s the power of an education at Migdal Ohr. That’s the power of one extra language!

Thank you for being the reason that our children are learning their first English sentences. Thank you for making sure that they succeed in all areas of their lives.
