Thank you to everyone who joined us for “The Light Will Still Shine,” a sold-out end-of-summer event at Tempura NYC Rooftop Bar. It was an unforgettable evening that provided vital support to thousands of orphaned and neglected children in Israel at the start of the school year. 

The event was hosted by our Young Professionals Division, LeadOhr, whose dedicated committee members brought this evening to life! Jewish young professionals from across Manhattan came together to start the new year by caring for vulnerable children in Israel who have no one else to care for them.

The evening was made even more meaningful by powerful speeches from several committee members, who shared moving messages about their commitment to Israel despite all of the resistance and hate since Oct 7th. They talked about how they got involved with Migdal Ohr and why it was more important than ever to support children during times of crisis. Their words resonated deeply, reminding everyone that they can make a difference!
