Overview of Migdal Ohr - The Pride of Israel - OLD PDF Print E-mail

Migdal Ohr is one of Israel’s largest nonprofits and is compromised of multiple campuses and programs that help people from across the religious spectrum. The majority of the people served are children (10,000+) that are comprised of orphans, the impoverished, and the underprivileged. The main campus in Migdal Ha’emek has multiple schools and dorms for boys and girls. Throughout Israel there are Migdal Ohr youth clubs and special training schools to help ensure young people have a solid future. Migdal Ohr also has a successful prisoner outreach program and a growing national service program for the Ultra-Orthodox. They also provide thousands of meals to the poor every year. The staff of over 800 (85% of staff are alumni) ensure that all of Migdal Ohr's children and adults have their individual needs met with love and tremendous sensitivity.
